The role
As Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be a key member in driving the growth of the Loadsure team. Your primary role is to lead and manage the full cycle of the recruitment process through direct sourcing, driving cost efficiency and providing consultative support to the Head of People & Culture and business leaders. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining the Loadsure recruitment engine. Your success in this role will be related to how well you manage to recruit candidates for a wide variety of positions across all areas of the business, including finance, sales, marketing, underwriting, operations and technology.
You will be self-driven and comfortable building relationships and working with all levels of the firm. You will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Stakeholder management and communication will be vital to the success of the role.

Key responsibilities
Drive sourcing capability & capacity across our team to proactively build diverse candidate pools while leveraging all available talent channels to expedite the recruitment of bar raising talent
Develop creative recruitment approached and techniques to ensure Loadsure meets its recruitment goals in a challenging labor market
Articulate the benefits of working for a fast-growing startup like Loadsure and all the fulfillment that comes with it, ensuring that the candidate is a fit for the startup environment.
Cross functional business partnering with managers to discuss all recruitment related scenarios
Maintain Applicant Tracking System (Teamtailor and LinkedIn Talent Solution)
Maintain relevant documentation and process logs relating to recruitment processes.
Screen applications, coordinating and hosting interviews
Encourage diversity within our hiring process
Work closely with Business, Finance and People & Culture leaders to influence and deliver a quality assessment and candidate experience through all aspects of the recruitment funnel.
Partner with key stakeholders (Business Leaders and Head of People & Culture) to determine future talent needs and set/drive enable sourcing strategies; this requires a deep understanding through extensive market research of the channels (US, UK and internationally) where we can find the best, diverse talent who fit our technical and cultural demands
Lead and/or participate in cross-business/cross-company special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition.
Use company provided services to perform background and reference checks on candidates
On successful acceptance of an offer hand the successful candidate over to Head of People & Culture for onboarding
Skills and qualifications
Essential
3+ years of agency recruitment experience
Business Development experience
Knowledge of Client Relations
Experience recruiting for insurance and/or transportation talent
Experience working with recruiting tools and systems including LinkedIn
Strong numeracy skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Strong communication skills
Comfortable dealing with internal and external senior representatives
Eagerness and willingness to learn
Accuracy and attention to detail
Self-starter and takes initiative
Effective listening, strong verbal and written communications skills (including grammar)
Must have outstanding interpersonal and problem solving skills
Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing technical environment
Desirable
Desired background in cargo/commercial auto/transportation
Enthusiastic about emerging technology and insurtech
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
