As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for managing working capital and ensuring a timely financial close process. You will be highly organised and comfortable building relationships and working with internal and external stakeholders. Stakeholder management and communication will be vital to the success of the role.

Key Responsibilities;

• Alongside the Financial Controller, owning working capital management including;
  • Managing stakeholders relationships both internally and externally
    
  • Circulating invoices to accounts payable contacts at key trading partners
  • Robust credit control and cash collection, from trading partners
  • Managing accounts payable and ensuring credit terms being honoured
  • Reconciliation of Loadsure operating accounts and clear presentation of weekly cashflow to CFO and CEO
  • Reconciliation of Loadsure client money accounts, and working with the FC and Head of Insurance Operations in providing timely and accurate reporting of premium payable to Loadsure’s underwriting partners
• Alongside FC, responsible for the month end finance close process, including: bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliations and assisting on preparation of consolidated management accounts
  
• Managing operational finance across the Loadsure group including;
  • Preparation of monthly Payroll,
  • Preparation of process of bi-weekly supplier payment runs
  • Reviewing and processing employee expense claims for the group
  • VAT return preparation
• Performing financial recordkeeping, as well as protecting sensitive and confidential information
• Assisting in managing the Loadsure Group audit
• Assisting on ad hoc projects as required by FC, CFO, and occasionally other business units

Skills and Qualifications;

Essential

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Up to 2 years PQE
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as NetSuite and/or Xero
• Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Desirable

• Experience in startups/scaleups
• Experience in insurance
• Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting
