As Billing Lead, your role is to manage and further develop the billing process within Loadsure. Responsible for reviewing and preparing invoices, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of billing data, resolving billing issues and maintaining accurate records collaborating closely with the Frontline & Finance Teams.

You will be highly organised and comfortable building relationships and working with all levels of the firm. Stakeholder management and communication will be vital to the success of the role. Key Responsibilities;

• Review and prepare invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of billing data
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, ensuring timely payment from clients
• Collaborate and respond efficiently to client inquiries regarding billing and payment
• Resolve billing issues, such as discrepancies or disputes, by communicating with clients and other stakeholders
• Maintain accurate and complete billing records and reports.
• Assist with other accounting and finance functions as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting and financial regulations and policies
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and other stakeholders
• Other duties as assigned by your manager

Skills and Qualifications;

Essential;

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in billing, accounting or a related field
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles and practices
• Experience with billing software such as Quickbooks, SAP or Xero
• Experience and knowledge of risk management principles
• Proven administrative experience and ability to multitask and prioritise work flows
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, problem solving, analytical and numeracy skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Eagerness and willingness to learn
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Self-starter and takes initiative
• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing technical environment

Desirable;

• Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Background in Ocean and Inland Marine Insurance
• Enthusiastic about emerging technology and Insurtech
